RudeVid.com Launched
I mentioned yesterday that I was challenging myself to create a website in 24 hours. I chose a video blog as the theme of the site and the result is: RudeVid.com. I wanted a short snappy name and I wanted to turn a site around in 24 hours doing everything from registering the domain name to designing the look of the site and creating some content. Here's the logo for the site:
However, expect the logo to be updated very soon! You'll also see that I've placed an ad in the sidebar of this blog for RudeVid.com, this will also be updated pretty soon and from now on, this is how I'll be letting the web know about what projects I'm working on! Have a look at the site and see what you think, and please drop me a comment. There's nothing particularly special about the site itself (for now), but I went for a very bold look and I think it's worked out well and looks pretty rude 
. This was more and experiment on challenging myself to create a new website from scratch in 24 hours and I've now proved to myself that it's possible! Most of the videos on the site itself come for youtube or vimeo and I haven't added much text based content. This site can evolve though with more rude and funny videos and I can add more valuable content to the site in terms of commenting on the videos themselves. I've aso set up a Twitter account that I'll be using to try and drive some traffic towards the site.
I have a few more things to do to the site, like add some WordPress plugins etc., but this might even be my next challenge! I'd like to take a look at how I can gather all the latest versions of WordPress and the best plugins that I use and be able to generate a great base for a website in less than one hour!
So that's it for now; one day, one completed website and one happy webmaster
